Gene Hodge
Elvis Tribute Artist
Bio
Gene Hodge is an Elvis tribute artist, not an impersonator.
Many who have attended his shows have commented, “seeing an Elvis Tribute Show by a blonde haired, blue eyed performer - minus the customary dress of an impersonator - is like a breath of fresh air.”
His voice continues to amaze and please audiences. When he sings, you are reminded of the beautiful electrifying voice of the greatest entertainer in history.
He has performed at numerous locations throughout the Southeast, including Graceland Crossing.
One of the greatest moments of his career was October 2006 in Sheffield, Alabama at the annual Elvis Day Celebration. He sang with the legendary Shaun Sherill Nielsen - Elvis’ harmony singer for ten years.
Through his performances he has played a major role in helping raise thousands of dollars for charitable organizations.
His high energy performances are family oriented and audience participation is encouraged.
Gene has been an Elvis Presley fan since childhood. During his performances he put his heart and soul into the show, hoping to be remembered as someone that helps keep the memory of Elvis alive.
He feels honored in knowing, that in a small way his name is being associated with the legendary performer. He will protect, preserve and present a credible and respectful reflection of Elvis Presley.
Following is a quote by Sherrill Nielsen, Elvis’ Favorite Tenor (according to Jarvis Felton, Elvis’ producer.
“Over the years, I have performed with a lot of Elvis Tribute Artists, but Gene surpasses all expectations. Gene sings from his heart and soul and has a true dedication and respect for Elvis, the King. His high energy and vocal abilities parallels those of Elvis. Gene offers a performance that you don’t want to miss. Thank you Gene for keeping the legacy of Elvis alive and well.”
